An article is published today in the October/November issue of Semiconductor Today Magazine: Semiconductor Today, Issue 6, Vol 8 page 106-109. The article, written by Translucent's very own Michael Lebby, Andrew Clark and Erdem Arkun is entitled "Driving 'on-silicon' solutions in lighting, power electronics & PVs". The article discusses how we grow rare earth oxides here at Translucent using a solid-source epitaxial technique to enable high-quality MOCVD of GaN FETs, LEDs, and also germanium CPV cells on silicon on large diameter wafers.
